Employment at the YMCA

The YMCA is currently looking for qualified individuals to join our team.

Lifeguards

The Y is seeking qualified applicants to join our team of lifeguards. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age, lifeguard certified, CPR, First Aid and AED certified. We encourage applicants with a passion for working with pools and patrons of the pool through the Y's core values of caring, respect, responsibility and honesty.

Swim Instructors

We are currently taking applications for energetic and dependable people who are at least 16 years of age and have experience working with children to be a part of our growing team of swim instructors.

Summer Day Camp Counselors

We are cuurently taking applications for energetic, creative and fun counselors to lead campers through their daily programs. Ideal applicants should be outgoing high school seniors or college students who love working with kids and have an interest in art, science, animation and leadership development.

Day and Night Time Cleaning Staff

We are currently taking applications for night time cleaning staff that will help in the cleaning and care of the building. Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required.  Applicant should expect to work 15-20 hours per week and occasionally on weekends.

Welcome Center Staff

We are currently taking applications for energetic and dependable individuals with OUTSTANDING people skills to work in our Welcome Center. Applicants are responsible for operating, maintaining and improving Welcome Center services and systems.  This position serves members and guests, maintains member service control, answers telephones, answers members questions and will perform various office duties.

Head Swim Coach

We are currently looking for a head swim coach for all boys and girls in the YMCA competitive swimming programs. Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of directing the team's practices and participation in meets. Candidate must have the following certifications: YMCA Principles of Competitive Swimming Diving Course, current lifeguard certification, current CPR/AED certification and current basic first aid certification.
